An 8mm film made in collaboration with Sandie Sarouni.
Lost Girls looks at mystery and disappearance. A landscape is presented both natural and industrial and the women navigate their way through, trying to make sense of a nonsensical atmosphere. Their actions waver between the surreal and the banal, until they eventually disappear from view.
This film was shot on 8mm Kodak Ektachrome 50D and processed by Nanolab.
This film was made to show at Island Salon, part of Underbelly Arts Festival at Cockatoo Island in 2015 and also exhibited as part of the Re:Cinema program at Sydney Underground Film Festival, 2016.
